Just wondering what experiences Canadian sellers have been having with BillPoint since they signed up. We're quite happy with it so far (though I still wish PayPal would get their act together and get into Canada).
We've had 14 auctions paid by BillPoint this week and it seems to working pretty smoothly although I'm waiting to see how long it takes for the money to show up in my account. People are definitely happy to be able to pay by Credit Card and I'm happy not being charged big fees for accepting them.

Hi genxmike!
Glad to hear billpoint is working out for you. Overall, I feel positive about the service.
If the sale price is less than ten dollars the fees work out at around 10%. Pretty high. Note too that the fee is also applied to the shipping cost. However, the higher the sale price the better the fees are and of course anything helps level the playing feild and encourage bidding.
CCNow has a fee of 9% (high too) but they absorb all chargeback fees and they do manual authorizations for non-US buyers. This really helps reduce the risk of fraud.
It's exciting to finally see some acknowledgement from eBay that being "International" isn't just lip service. It means actually attempting to service international customers with equal consideration...and as sellers we are eBay's customers.
I am very interested to see how it all works out...
