I've just started selling on ebay and have misestimated shipping on a few of my auctions and have eaten the difference. I've been looking at the digital scales on ebay and notice that most people are selling the Royal ex2. 10lb cap. That would handle all of my stuff. Can anyone recommend this scale or tell me why not to buy it.
According to just about everyone selling it, it is rated at 4lbs but actually goes to 10lbs. I would think the manufacturer would know.

A digital scale is a great investment - it'll pay for itself in time saved and in getting the correct $$ for shipping.
I found mine at Office Depot for around $50.00 - It's a Sunbeam and weighs up to 10 lbs. It may not be the best - but it has been 100% accurate.

I bought an Oster (10 lb. capacity) and have had great success with it. I paid around $23 for it (on Ebay!!!). It sure takes the hassles out of trying to calculate the correct cost of shipping!

Are you saying that the Royal won't weigh the 10 lbs that these people are showing in their ads. Many are showing the 10lb weight on the scale and the reading of 160 ozs.

I am probably going to buy a scale shortly for calculating foreign shipments and heavier items. Digital is about as good as it gets. You don't have reset them and worry about reading a bouncing needle zeroed right.
