I don't like the highlight or the search featured auctions. This will look like Yahoo with all the featured auctions popping up and taking prominent residence over regular auctions!!!
What do you think.......

I think I'll pass on those bells and whistles. Even when eBay gives me cold hard facts <cough, cough> like these:
** Items that use Gallery Image are 8% more likely to sell ** ** Items that use Bold are 27% more likely to sell ** ** Items that use Featured in Category are 58% more likely to sell **
I keep thinking "What would I do if I was shopping for an item"? I guess I hope the buyer is a no nonsense kinda person like me that just wants the pictures, the description, and decent terms. I'm not keen on auctions where I'll have to pay for advertising as a seller OR as a buyer.

I was curious about the bold feature for $2.00 so I tried it on a few of my auctions this week. Frankly, I haven't seen any more than normal traffic on them. $5.00 for the new highlighted is just way too much for me!

Hey if the seller is willing to pay the fee he should get more benefits and as for Yahoo that service is free! If you are not willing to pay and want it for free than you don't get the benefits. If you want something featured or be shown up at the top you have to pay a fee the price of doing business.
