I think I can now call myself an auction veteran. A buyer is auctioning the item they won from me a month ago and that's cool, but they are also using MY auction description verbatim and MY pics I put in MY auction. This is not great stuff they are ripping off-misspellings, bad grammer and crummy pc cam pictures! I wish people would show a little more imagination

You know, if there ever were a time when I didn't feel ripped off over such behavior, it would be when my own buyer was selling he had bought from me.

I resell things on occasion, and I often keep the picture used when I bought it and use the picture to sell it. Never imagined that seller would mind, and similarly, if any of my buyers ever resell what I sell them, they're welcome to the auction they bought and paid for, picture and description included.

well...in some ways I can relate. I helped a friend get started on doing auctions with some pointers I learned here and from a friend that helped me. This *friend* became direct compitition with me, listing the same products, using my descriptions, (that I agonize over...trying to be bright and complete in detailing), and flooded the market on widgets that used to bring fantastic prices, but because they got greedy, now bring a fraction of the cost. Just dumb business practices as far as I am concerned. It would be nice if the person at least had the common courtesy to ask if you minded...MHO

I must be petty because I tell you, when I consider the time and cost to take pictures, developing them and putting the auctions up and someone just sat back and used them - I would P O'd royally!
