Not such a big surprise. CanadaPost and Purolator teamed up to offer a trackable priority mail type service from Canada to the US.

Long, long ago we used Fed-Ex for a time - absolutely hated them! Wouldn't leave anything unless someone was home, even though we had approved them to do so (neighbor watches our home) and their delivery people were arrogant and rude.

I like the USPS okay, needs a lot of improvement in the customer service area, but does a good job of delivering what I want them to deliver. I see no reason to bring in Fed-Ex or UPS.

I think Emery does the USPS Express Mail and Priority mail shipment right now for the PO (of course, they only deliver it to the PO, not directly to the address). So not very different, just a different vendor.
