I am curious to know if anyone has tried Esnipe since the overhaul on the 4th.

As Esnipe was getting many bad reports previously. I am curious to know how it is working now.

I haven't had a need to use it yet.

I had it fail miserably the first time after the upgrade, but went off with no problems for the next several auctions.

Tried it a couple of days ago with a 10 second buffer. The bid was placed with 9 seconds left to go in the auction.

Worked OK for me 2X since upgrade.

Can't get the "snipe-it" feature to work from the auction page, though.

I tried it out last night - worked great!

Also, the snipe-it feature works great for me in Netscape. Haven't tried it in Microsoft Explorer yet.

I was concerned that it might glitch, so I used the belt-and-suspenders approach. I bid shortly before close and ensniped on an auction I wanted to win. esnipe was fine--bidding before just encouraged a counter bid. I'd still be cautious the next couple of weeks, but this looks like it should be good news.

Used it once. My 10 seconds wasn't enough time to get the bid in. Will try again with 10 and 20 seconds.
