I am really out of my league here and need help. I bought several old books (turn of century to about 1930) at a garage sale. How on earth do I rate/price/sell/describe them?

For example,
I have a 1927 Oliver Twist

I also have a copy of Robert Browingin's Ring and The Book with no publishing date anywhere but looks to be quite old. Published by Nelson. (at least as old as the 1927)

Shakespeare's Tempest 1927

Shakespeare's As you like it - First printing by this publisher (Nelson) in 1926

I really need some help with these and the other dozen that I got!!!

Try bibliofind.com or bookfinder.com both sites list used and antique books world wide. Scan their lists and you can see what is being asked for similar books. Of course keep in mind that with old books it's condition, condition, condition.

Start by looking up the authors ... as all of the ones you mention DIED well before the 1900s, you do not have first editions.

Then look at the publisher and the condition of the book and the illustrator ... what you have are old reprints that might have a collectible feature, but it's unlikley.
check addall.com/used/ and compare not just author and title, but publisher, and condition, and other features.
