How can I make a banner to attach to the bottom of my auctions that says No Paypal!!
It would be great if all sellers could have the same banner with a link explaining why

First, either put the "no paypal" reasons on your webpage - or maybe you want to link to one of the AW threads? In any case, decide what you want your clickable link to link to. For the example below I'm linking to an AW thread.
Then enter this on your auction pages, substituting [] for <>:
<a href= http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=2&thread=254626>Why I Don't Accept Paypal </a>
Obviously if you wanted to link to your own "manifesto" page, you'd change the link above to the appropriate URL.
I think I got that right. If not, whoever follows will correct me
Thanks for the info. Actually that was asked "tongue in cheek". I don't really want to do anything to damage Payal's credibility. They seem to be doing a very fine job of it without my help.
Edit because I can't speeell this morning.

If you come up with a NO PAYPAL Banner, please let me know.
To me, PlayPay/Brand X Bank represent the tackiest part of ecommerce to date, and believe me, that's tacky!
I like Billpoint ELECTRONIC CHECK which entirely protects the seller against fraudulent chargebacks, which became rampant in the rare book world a few years back.
