I have had several auctions end in the past week and haven't had an end of auction notice. Maybe I'm deleting them in my sleep but I don't think so. So, how fast or how slow are you receiving your notices?

I have received the EOA notice within one hour or up to 48 hours later. I don't rely on them any more, I usually have most auctions ending the same day and just watch them myself and then send out my own notice. It appears that most of the sellers here on AW do the same.

I received one this week within a few hours of the end of the auction. The others have arrived days later, or never.

I have learned to never ever rely on EOA notices from Ebay...case in point...this week I received 4 EOA's on auctions that ended on Aug. 23...since then I have relisted and sold these items...Suz

Thanks for the answers. I had an auction end four days ago and the winner hasn't responded to emails even though he continues to be active. I'm thinking perhaps he is one of those people who doesn't respond until he gets his EOA notice. I suppose I will just wait patiently.

if the end of auctio notice dont come from ebay in 10 days end the sale with out them hahah.
I had two auctions end with winners on last friday night about 7:30 pm and didnt get the notice till 10pm last night 4 days late my eoa was sent out and I had a shipping address and notice of payment all ready.

At this point, the operative term for EOAs is "forever and a day." And even then they sometimes don't come at all. Do not use eBay's EOA as a determining factor in contacting buyers (or vice versa). Make your *own* EOA & send it out to buyers as soon as possible after your auctions close.
