Just trying to get a grip on how things stand with paypal, I talked to them today and the lady told me that it was optional, the bussiness account, but the way everyone is talking it that you upgrade or else. My question is are you planing on staying with paypal or you planing on leaving, or just wait and see what happens.

Staying..just another business expense like an increase in postal rates.

Staying... Will not upgrade.... Will continue to sell my dozen or so items per month through my Personal Account. I am not a business and will not allow PayPal to call me a business.

I will keep my paypal account for the few times I am a buyer, but after this last batch of auctions ends I will not offer it as a payment option to my buyers...AND I WILL NOT BECOME A BUSINESS ACCOUNT...NO WAY NO HOW.
Sorry for shouting, but I've been irritated about this all day

kerrydaway going back to checks and MO's.

I'll use paypal to pay as long as there someone willing to take payments by them, I do feel it's gonna be alot harder to find people willing to do so. I won't use as a seller, because they have been planning this all along( verify account, Dont pay seller unless their verified ) I now see why being verified was such a big deal to them!!

overworked,

A suggestion...if you don't like the topic of a thread, don't open it.

The moderators corner has already stated they are going to leave some threads going because this IS a big issue to some. It may not be one to you but to a lot of people it is.

Everyone,

Once again, threads concerning PayPal are dominating the eBay Outlook. I am going to lock this thread as well as several others, and ask that you confine your comments concerning PayPal to the one PayPal thread that will be left open in the eBay Outlook, or start a new thread in the Partner Services Forum.

Thanks for your cooperation.
