I've been a seller on Ebay for 3 years, full-time. I've been doing some house cleaning lately and have lots of STUFF, mainly kids clothing, toys, household items, and decorative accessories, that I have no interest in piecemeal selling on Ebay. Retail value $5k plus, eBay value I haven't the time to check. Any thoughts on how to sell this as a lot. What could I list it as....200 lbs. of misc. junk?

Actually, you probably could - market it as a "flea market lot". I've seen it done before, although not on ebay (but then I don't need another 200 lbs. "flea market lot" to add to the one I already have).

I saw someone list a bunch of stuff by hanging/piling it in the garage, taking a picture and adding a general description.
How about someone in your area doing listing on consignment, consignment shops or auctions?
5k is enough value for a wholesale lot to interest someone unless 5K was original retail cost in which case present value may be as low as two or three hundred dollars.
Nothing against Goodwill but there are often local church or social service groups that are more direct routes to needy families for childrens clothing.

Yeah, I like the idea. Make it a regional auction - buyer to pick up. It may or may not beat the tax deduction you would get from donating it, but the idea is appealing. Thanx, I may try it myself.
