Mine are terrible this week worse I have seen this year.

I think we need a fresh influx of new bidders just seeing lots of repeat folks.

Mine are great, thanks for asking.

P.S. And I don't offer PayPal.

That's odd. My sales have been very good this week. Most of my auctions have been won by zero or very low-feedback buyers.

I seem to be picking up more early bidders. I hope that continues.

I don't mean to make you feel bad, but mine are wonderful! Things are really picking up for me!

August was super, my best month in 2 1/2 years, and September is going great guns, even better!! Many auctions exceeding any expectations.

One thing I have noticed is how many more high feedback bidders seem to have come back from holidays -- during the summer there was a higher percentage of newbies or low feedback bidders participating.

I have been trying to "break" into selling for awhile and decided to go over to Yahoo to learn since they do not yet have fees. I have been amazed at all the brand new buyers there. When they sign up they get the word "new" behind there ID. I really don't know how long it stays there, but if you go and look through the auctions WITH bids, you will find a surprising amount of "new" bidders in high spot! I even had a bidding war break out and got my 1st ever hot item! After the close this person paid with PP immediately. They were very saavy as to how it all worked, SO, I am assuming they are just new to Y! NOT new to auctions. Maybe the buyers are looking for new places to bid, JUST like some sellers are looking for new places to sell????

My sales are good. Sorry yours aren't doing so well.

Edited because I tried to make a funny comment that wasn't so funny.

The weekend, combining both eBay and YAHOO, was great. Not just good but great.

Then I think someone shut the street in front of my door. Like I'm closed for vacation but nobody told me.

Fortunatly I'm usually able to keep an attitude of "I do my part and it will all work out in the long run" but every time I try to actually figure out what or why I end up completely confused.

I've made a commitment to myself that I would list or get rid of every preowned item in inventory before buying any more.

Among other things, I put up a batch of LP records. Seventeen LP listings in all. Three sold and one went for four times my starting/asking price which I was concerned was too high to begin with. It's a Readers Digest collection of Christmas songs. Usually RD records have as much appeal as RD condensed books. Early Elvis and early Streisand LP's got no bids and few views.Go figure.

I know I'm spending to much time on "the business"(AW, PayPal, MAM) rather than my own business but that usually shows in poor sales 2 or 3 weeks later.

I'm behind already for the Holiday season so just get back to work is my only answer for myself.

I sure hopes somebody figures this all out some day and is kind enough to share "why" with me.

Every month for the last 6 months has been a record month for me. I think word is spreading about my sales. I sell very unique selected items for a specific category and yes I am not telling. I have some fierce comepetition too & they list 3 times more than me in eBay & I bet their sales are 3 times more than mine too. So I am playing catch up here.

Well you and I need to step out for a spot of tea because my week is going terrible too.
August was a bust and September is only slightly better.
Nothing like I was doing in July.

Seems most of my auctions are being won by new blood also, that's good, new bidders for us all! Good early bids so far, best I've had in some time, has been play the wait till the last day a see game, but getting some early bids the week, that's hopeful!

one thing I've noticed is that people are jumping on things early. in the spring the pattern was that bidders would browse closing soon auctions and bid in the last day or two. What is happening to me now is that they seem to be looking at the new items and bidding then.

sales could be better, but couldn't be worse than last may/june.
