Nothing wrong with it..... just like any other business one has some sort of overhead like fees weather from paypal or some other service; packing material to ship items; postal fees, etc.

If one wants to be in business you have to expect some type of business expense.

The key is to START AN AUCTION at the least you want for an item ( and included in that are expenses like fees from pay services; packing materials, etc) or just do as most power sellers do (be honest and upfront and break down the fees for bidders) and they can decide to or not to bid on our auctions.

In some states it is illegal to charge customers more for using a CC or payment service. ebay can shut down your auctions (and has) if you do it.
However, there is nothing wrong with offering a discount for NOT using certain services. When I accepted CC directly, I charged a shipping and handling fee but the handling fee would NOT be charged if paid by check, money order or free payment service. Most bidders got the message. Now I add a free option, like free shipping if paid with anything but a payment service that charges me.
