I need to ship 13 LP's (record albums) and don't really want to pay the Priority rate. Does anybody know if record albums would fit under the category of "Sound Recordings", and thus qualify for Special Standard rate? Thanks for your help.

Yes, they do. Any audio-visual format qualifies for it, from wax cylinders to CDs and film reels through DVDs. Don't know if stereoscope cards would, but probably...

I just shipped out a dozen 45's records using special standard aka book rate. No problems, in fact the buyer got them in less than a week.
