I was checking up on an old seller whom i've bought stuff from in the past, and inquired if he was planning to sell more stuff in the near future.

He replies back he's quit eBay...the cause was the last several auctions he did caught the "attention" of certain individuals. And that "forced" him off.

He notes several other sellers also were contacted about this, and at least one I know of has also deserted his ID.

He didn't go further, only noting Safeharbor wasn't a big help. And something about Royalties...

I'm suspecting there is something amist here.

The sellers all did the same line of work. And, some garndered hefty commissions.

"Royalties" might mean someone was looking out for their properties, and been secrectly trying to get money under the table behind eBay's nose.

I dunno, that's what I can piece together. That, or this is some VERO scam.

You really need to give us some idea what these people were selling. Not all of us have the detective skill or the time to go look for users who have left.
