I decided to let all my auctions run out and clean up my auctions TOS and start with a clean sheet of music.
I only have 22 auctions running at this time. I will get rid of the Paypal logo and links to my home page and various other items before starting over.
I use Honesty counters along with Auction Assistant Pro for my eBay auctions because the program inserts the counters automatically and resets the counters to "0" if you relist an auction.
The auctions all have a high number of counter hits but very few bids. I believe the watch feature is the culprit in this case as the merchandise I sell is sold by very few people.
What I am driving at is I think eBay shot themselves in the foot with the watch feature. The feature has to be resulting in many last minute bids without the auction prices being ran up. It may be a good feature for bidders, but not for the seller or eBay.

I have to agree with you. The watch feature is great for buyers, but I believe it costs sellers (and therefore Ebay) $$$. With everyone waiting to snipe at the last minute, the bids just don't seem to go as high as they would if someone had to bump the bid by one increment in order to get the item on his "Bidding" list. Only so many people are going to be able to register bids at the last minute.
