Good news for DW and CMGI.

Street expectations were for a lost of $2.45; CMGI announced a loss of only $2.17.

Elsewise, CNBC simply repeats that it is going over alla the numbers before they say anymore.

DW is obviously a brilliant man. I enjoy watching him being interviewed, as I always get the impression, while watching his brain FOCUS entirely on the question being posed, that when he "hears" the question-mark, at last, that he's almost ready to audibly sigh, lol, that he has not been asked a stupid question.

The Net Illiterati who *do* know what they're doing, it's just pathetic that most of the interviewers simply ain't up to speed to conduct an in depth interview with any of them, as obviously, the entire Net economy is not merely over their heads, but actually an alien paradigm, so way way way far ahead of them.

Didn't you find it odd that CMGI has done the "segmentation" into 6 sectors, but of the 2 profitable ones, one was the "venture" segment?

I assumed they were doing that do isolate the unprofitable venture segment in hopes of splitting off some of the other profitable segments. Appparently not. Shows what I know...

I'm quite unfamiliar with the idea that the CMGI Venture was not profitable.
