I have put a proxy bid on an auction for lets say $20.00 and I don't think it is high enough. I am winning the auction right now. It is okay to just put another proxy bid in? Will it stay at $20.00? Thanks all. Janet

I've done that. Once in awhile I don't think I've bid high enough, and I put in a higher bid. I guess it must be ok.

If you have put in a proxy of $20.00 and you are the only bidder and you wish to increase your proxy - go ahead. Your bid amount will not go up AT ALL until someone else bids against your proxy. (You can't bid against yourself unless you have more than one ID).
