Hi - Just wondering if you are putting up inventory right now targetted at the holidays. I need to do some checking to see if ebay is glutted with books for Christmas. This is going to be my first year selling at the holidays,and I'm not sure what to expect. I do have a couple of holiday coloring books, wonder if anyone would want something like that?
A new category for me this week: miniature dollhouse furniture instructions. I got more for some stuff on this topic than I expected. I listed them in the dolls/dollhouse category. I'll be looking around for more!
I had one experience last year with a Christmas book. I put it up on ebay in Sept. - no bids. I relisted it in Oct. - no bids. I took a chance and relisted it in late Nov. - and the price went through the roof! It's only one experience but it's all I have.
So this year, all my Christmas books are going up for auction right around Thanksgiving.

HI Karen - thanks for the feedback! I remember last year...I decided it would be the year I'd make a gingerbread house with my children. It was a scramble to get anything at the library in December to look for ideas! I sure hope I'll find some gingerbread house books this year to sell!

I'm already getting quite a few bids for holiday craft books, kits, and patterns. At least some bidders are planning well in advance!

Yes, I think you are right about craft type books, I just sold a Santa Cross Stitch Kit. Crafters need to plan ahead.
but regular Christmas books, I thnk I'm going to wait on.

I put @ 9 books up for auction 2 weeks ago, 7 day auctions, and all sold but for one. They were craft books, cook books, etc. Good money for them too!! I figured I'd wait till after Labor Day and I was right!! GO FOR IT!!!
