I have a package to ship from the US to Canada but I'm not sure on the best way to ship. I am looking at sending it Airmail but not sure which is the best. Airmail or Parcel Post Airmail? Can a package be insured if it is sent Airmail? I see that for Parcel Post Airmail but not just Airmail. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
dllewis

go to http://ircalc.usps.gov/ and then click on 'package'. Enter the country and weight on the next screen. The resultant screen will then give you a choice of rate including 'small packet air' and parcel post air.

Small packet air can't be insured but it can be registered.

Parcel post air can be insured.

Small packet air is a lot cheaper.

Hope this helps
