I just received my copy of Ebay Magazine in today's mail. On page 45 there is an article called "Power sellers find a friend in Paypal". Article is about a powerseller who raves about Paypal.

The very last sentence?

"The fact that Paypal is free to the seller makes it an attractive option on both ends."

I suppose they "forgot" to mention it's no longer free to the ebay seller?

onsale...the article was probably written several months ago. The magazine probably went to the printers before paypal changed policy too. The lead in time for a magazine is several months. The pictures for an article in the Christmas issue of a magazine like Better Homes and Gardens is shot in the middle of the summer.

magazine-guy...newsweek is published more like a newspaper. It has to be more current because it is selling TODAY'S news. They don't preplan what articles are going to be written because it is topical...current events. Plus it is a WEEKLY magazine, reporting on the news of the last 7 days.

Monthly magazines are preplanned in advance. The editors decide what articles they want and get writers to write the articles.

Now, I'm sure you KNEW this before and were just teasing me..right?

That's true amy! I remember a Country Living article saying how they had taken all these great Christmas photos one year, only to be used in the next year's Christmas issue.
