I have a 300 K6-2 and 64 megs of ram and my machine does the same only it takes longer. Mister Lister is the worst software I have ever encountered due to its instability
I strongly recommend you upgrade your RAM if you can't upgrade your machine. 32megs isn't enough. In any event you might want to try Auction Manager instead of Mr. Lister.

mister lister never locks up on me, but it does make my hard drive thrash like crazy whenever saving a listing. Can't figure out what's going on there. I'm on a PII-333/192MB RAM.
Anyway, I agree that your computer probably just can't handle this program. Check your free hard drive space - make sure you've got some. (Have you run Scandisk and defragged it lately?) Otherwise, you need more RAM or a new computer.
