Anyone have any experience/comments/opinions about PayPlace? With my recent problems with PayPal, I'm looking at other providers. I already use BidPay for my international customers.

I have used PayPlace only twice and both transactions went very well. I would like to use PayPlace a little more but I have a problem with this policy of theirs:
You may withdraw your full amount from your PayPlace account, if you are requesting that we send you a check. However, $200 is the maximum you can electronically transfer from PayPlace to your bank account within a 90-day period.
If they would change that policy I would like to use them more often.

Well, the only opinion I can offer is that I Have been trying for almost two weeks to register with payplace and either it freezes up my system when I try to go move around their page, OR if I finally get to the registration window...I get a server error page. Not a netscape error message but an actual web page with a big yellow square that says server error. I have emailed them twice and the last message said they were sorry I was having trouble and I possibly need to upgrade my browser....(I have the latest version.) However, After reading about the 200 dollar limit in 90 days, maybe I don't want it after all.

It is too much work to actually get registered with PayPlace. For some reason they won't accept our address when we try to verify. We emailed them and they weren't all that helpful.
Paydirect and Bullpoint are our best options for now.

The reason why I asked this is because since I'm having problems with PayPal, I decided to check out PayPlace. Registering with them and opening an account was no problem at all for me. I'm just waiting for my customers to start using it!

Here's my 2 cents. I tried for a week to register with PayPlace. The site said my Credit Card was invalid. After the usual runaround, they said it was because of my MBE address. Everything goes through MBE with no problem! They said sorry but sometime in the future they would correct this. I will stick with PayPal.
