Since there have been many discussions here about customer service, refunds and related topics, I thought I'd share a "satisfaction guarantee" I just ran across on someone's "My eBay" page. It goes like this:
I want you, the buyer to be happy with your purchases from me. My goal is to make 100% of my buyers "Happy as a Clam." Sometimes, this may not be possible, if this is the case I expect to hear from you about your grievances. Please email so we can work out any and all problems with the transaction. If I have unintentionally misrepresented my item in anyway, I will give you a full refund. If you just simply "weren't happy" with your choice then I will ask that you deduct my costs from your refund and I will be happy to issue you a refund once the item is returned.
Excellent! It's friendly, to the point, and solves the problem of whether to refund or not, and how much under what circumstances.
