Hi, Just tried to relist a few items on eBay and I keep getting an error message that says there is an error in the gallery image URL--that it ends in .gif and that format is not allowed. Mind you, when the auction was originally listed, the gallery image was accepted just fine, and it is in the .jpg format. Anyone else having this problem?

Very similar..I have been listing new auctions with Auction Assistant tonight. They put a .gif in the pic area. I kept getting the same error message your getting but my gallery picture IS jpeg. I just copied my gallery picture url to the pic area, replacing AA's gif and the auctions loaded.
Something similar happened awhile back when ebay tweaked the pages, so I have a feeling they made some change that will require AA to do an update.
