How many people have the shooting star beside their eBay ID? (over 10,000 sells) I am still a turquoise star and probably will be for quite a while. If so, how much time do you spend each day working on your items?

If they have a shooting star - they probably only have time for ebay, not here! No good tips for the other lowly stars!

I am a shooting star person (close to 20,000), and post occasionally here to AuctionWatch, but I read these threads religiously each evening before I go to bed. I am always interested in getting radh's and raygomez's latest opinions on current topics so I can form my own opinions accordingly, usually in an opposite direction...
thx marie

parrothead-something was the first to get a shooting star. he sells packaging materials.
I got my red star this month. your progress through the stars is affected by what you sell. if you sell larger, more complicated items you will naturally list fewer and take longer. if you sell items that are simpler to list, you list more of them and get your star faster. doesn't necessarily mean you've got more bucks though.
Take stamp sellers - the terminology is all set - often they can whack up an auction in under a real minute. Compare that to clothes or china or whatever. an item for those sellers can take a bit of work.
I sell postcards and spend maybe 30-40 minutes getting 10-12 items listed each night. Then 1/2 hour or so sending out shipments. It's just a hobby for me.
My auction philosophy is to develop a steady routine that does not take too much out of you. Don't "binge and purge" when it comes to listing - just an adequate meal every day.

Check again. Parrothead88 does have negatives and neutrals, although in the context of 21,397 positives, 42 neutrals and 10 negs just means he/she has run into a few nuts.

You are right! I was looking at the last
6 months. Anyway, that's a fantastic rate
of nut avoidance and surely good business also.

Jereth:
I have no idea how in the world you keep track of so many auctions! Good lord, over 30,000 positives!!!!
P.S. don't you go crazy when someone leaves a negative over a slight crack in the case? I sell some cd's.. and it bugs the hell out of me! .10 case... (smile)
Good work.

I buy most of my pocket dragons from a shooting star seller. One of the best I've ever delt with!
Good prices, Great service!
