I have a bid on an item and it is a piece of clothing (a skirt).

In the measurement, I just noticed that I wrote:
Waist 26 inches around
Hips Very Full
Inner leg 30 1/2 inches

It's a skirt! It doesn't have an inseam measurement!! I can't believe I only noticed this now!! That was actually the skirt's length! I don't want people to read that and think that they are getting a split skirt! It's a real skirt!

Now that it has a bid, can I still go in and make an addition to the item description? I tried the normal way I do it straight on the auction page but that option is gone now that there is a bid.

Can anybody please tell me how to do this? I would hate to cancel the bid just so I can make a correction!

Double ack!!

Thanks!

Jozi

Hi, here is the link to add to your item's description:

http://cgi5.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?AddToItemDescription

Hi Jozi! Glad valerie was here to help you out and you can go fix it, lol. I did that a few times myself. Or, I put in the length of the dress as the bust and vice versa

Remember the gal I told you about that neg'd me because she wanted me to take her paypal? She neg'd me, I neg'd her. Then, we got to emailing and talking and she went in and responded to the neg and I responded to the response..back and forth we went, trying to fix what we said about each other in our feedbacks so folks would know all was well. I told her that maybe since we already got the battle over with, who knew...maybe we would get to be good pals and she said YES, She would like that. So...the transaction will be concluded and both of us have two battle scars, lol.

Valeriie47 , Do you keep that link stored to make quick corrections or do you have to go through Ebay to find it? I can't remember sometimes how to find the correct links I need and it would be neat to have some of them in a folder of my own (if that is possible) but wonder how to do it.
Still learning. Thank you, Dana71

Hi Dana,

Actually, I go through ebay. At the top of every ebay page there is a link that says "site map". I just click on that link and find what I'm looking for and click on it. Hope that helps!

dana, I just did exactly what you are wanting to do. click and drag the link to cover it. then go to edit and go down to "copy". Then go into your mailbox and compose a letter, subject "changing info on your auction" and then after clicking in the body of the email, go back to edit, and move down to "paste". Then don't send it, just save it as a draft.

Thank you very much for the link, I just needed to add a major piece to my description of an item, to clarify exactly what it could do.
Thanks again for the link.
