Hi to all. Auction ended 9/17. Finally heard from bidder on 9/20. Said she would send money order. I have received nothing and no response to further emails. This person has low feedback (25) and it is all very good. They have made no bids whatsever since 9/16. I emailed twice after EOA and sent the last one 9/30 saying it was alright if she wanted to cancel bid, just let me know, nothing, nada, zilch. I sent NPB email from ebay yesterday, still nothing.
How long do I wait and file NPB and relist this item? This is only the second deadbeat I've had and I didn't bother with the first one.

You can relist now, although I think it's a bit soon.
I take it you've filed the initial NPB alert. If that doesn't shake anything loose, you can request a credit of your Final Value Fees 10 days later. But that 10 day period doesn't preclude you from making other arrangements for the item, or from exercising your option to leave negative feedback.
I think I'd wait a bit longer, do the FVF thing, and then move on.

I file NPB alerts not later than after two weeks of non-payment and file for FVF 10 days later if the money hasn't arrived. 24 days is long enough.

Well, I probably have a little different outlook on this than others. I have been doing ebay since july, so I am a newcomer but i am very pleased with how well I have done. I have sold several hundred items to over a hundred people, and I have had maybe a half dozen npb's. My feeling is, so what? I didn't get the money, they didn't get the stuff. I have never filed a npb to ebay, never sent negative feedback, and have not received any. I like that. I'm so busy, I can be a little slow myself sending out payment, just keeping up with it all is a chore, so I can understand if someone else is slow. As far as how long to wait, since I have a pretty big inventory, I am comfortable waiting a long time, even a couple months before I relist. I was going through my Auction watch closed auctions tonight and came across a npb on a fairly expensive item. Guess what? In the note section, which I had not read, the buyer said he did not see my address to send the check. So, it was my fault that he had not paid. I zipped off an email to ask if he was still interested, we will see. I still have the book if he wants it. Anyway, I will never send negative feedback on anyone unless I feel an individual is actively ripping people off or bouncing checks. To do otherwise, in my opinion, is just bad busines. And if we are in this full or part time, we are in in business, and we build our business with happy customers, not by upsetting people with negative remarks.
