Congratulations donnybrook! I went to yard sales all summer and didn't find anything that really struck my interest until a couple of weeks ago. I picked up a full sized m-7 bayonet that I thought was interesting for $10. Brought it home and found out there was only oneproblem with it. My husband has the shorter version of this bayonet and decided that this was not ebay bait. Instead it is now HIS! Oh well, there is always next summer.

Is a spool cabinet something that...holds spools? I think my grandmother had one. How lovely. Why do people do that, put out really nice things at a yard sale? Why don't they try an antique shop first?
