Hutschenreuther is porcelain manufacturer in Germany. The L. Hutschenreuther factory in Selb, Bavaria, Germany was started in 1857. The C M Hutschenreuther factory in Hohenberg, Bavaria, Germany was started in 1814. Down through the years they each acquired other porcelain companies. In 1969 they merged and became AG Hutschenreuther. They are still in production, I believe.
They have made a lot of dinnerware sets...very nice quality. not sure what else they made or make...I'm more familiar with the dinnerware.
It's a powder jar (hair receiver? but no hole on lid, so can't be a hair receiver according to her). Search on the web is confusing based on the markings.

I do not know about a powder jar...But that company is most famouos for it's minature dogs...They can start in the low hundred and go from there. I currently have a bulldog worth about 200.00.(a keeper )
