I got a good buy on several boxes of Christmas cards by a very popular illustrator and I want to list them at the best time to get the best return on my investment - duh, of course!
I was kind of thinking of listing them as 10 days auctions starting on Thursday, October 26 so they end on Sunday, November 5. Does that seem too soon? Too late?

I already bought mine on eBay. (A few weeks ago, in fact!) I am determined to get them done early this year!!! (Even if it kills me!) I even printed out all of my mailing labels and ordered pre-printed Xmas return address labels from eBay already.
It's not too early--check the listings--there was a bunch listed last time I looked. Good luck!

I would say you are in the exactly correct period to be listing the cards. People will have to wait for your auction to end and all the payment and shipping finalities to occur befor they can use them. That will put them near the end of the month. Go for it.

Our Christmas Jewelry is going up for sale just as soon as I can get to them. Anytime after Labor Day is just fine to start your Christmas erun. But don't forget Halloween - many adults like to party and get costumes and accessories off of eBay. And Thanksgiving too!

Go ahead. I buy the cards for our office to send out and we are on a tight budget, so I am always looking year 'round. I had just thought to myself I should start looking on Ebay for the kind we like. We just got a cold spell here in the Midwest and the stores have started putting out their Christmas items. If they can, why can't you? Good luck with it!

Heck, my husband was in Target recently and he heard two older ladies ask the Coca-Cola salesperson if they purchased a case of Cokes, would they spoil before the kids come home at Christmas? Now that is shopping early.
