I also posted this question in the AWM page, but it looks like no one is there to answer this question by the looks of all the unanswered questions posted.

So here is the question.

I would like to use the blank template that AW offers but, I would like to change the background color and also the text color, if that is possible.

If it is HOW.

Any help would be appreciated

Pandjent,
Sorry, but I don't know the answer to your question, but my replying to it, will at least bring it to the top of the list again, and maybe someone will help you, good luck,

Thank soldbyj!

For alittle more backgound info. I was able to change the color of the background and text on AWP and it looks GREAT, but when I uploaded the auctions and checked them they returned to the white background.

Any answers out there? I hope so.

You can change the background color of a table that's in an auction description, but you can't change the background color of the entire auction - that color is hard-coded at the beginning of each auction page by eBay. The only way to change the background color of the entire auction page is to load an image as the background (solid color or patterned).

Thanks Glenda. That's what I wanted to do was to change the color of the item disc. but the codes that I found change the entire auction page.

Any help would be appreciated.

pandjent:

Does the blank template allow you to enter HTML manually?

If so, create a table this way:

<table bgcolor="XXXXXX" border=1>
<tr>
<td>
auction description etc.
</td>
</tr>
</table>

That will make a single-cell table with a different background color, and a 1-pixel-wide border.

You can find a list of colors (the "XXXXXX" above) here, as well as the instructions on how to change the font color (you can't change the default eBay text colors, but you can change the font colors in the description of your text, with or without a table):
