I have a Clarke floor maintainer. It weighs 35 lbs & is about 4' tall. This is a heavy duty floor cleaner, polisher. I woud like to sell it on eBay, but don't know what to do about the shipping. I know the USPS can't ship this so who will. Anyone have any experience or suggestions ? Also any idea on how much it would cost ?

UPS will ship these items it will cost your buyer though big $$ for shipping.
UPS will have no trouble with this item at all I wouldnt think they have delivered lawn mowers here to my house with no trouble.

My husband has a maintenance company and buys lots of those floor machines. They almost always come UPS. Otherwise, if he is buying them from a 'nearby' city (such as from Houston to New Orleans), he'll have someone drive out and pick it up.

Thank you dman3 & mzlez, another question though. Do you just put a tag on it with the buyers name & address ?? It certainly can't be wrapped.
mzalez, we have a similar service..A cleaning service. Our teams just do light housekeeping, you know the "we don't do windows" kind. We have had it for 14 years.

You might also want to check with Fedex Ground. Also, check for local companies that specialize in packing and shipping these types of items.

If you bring it to Mailboxes Etc they will package AND ship it for you. (I believe they ship by UPS).

I would also recommend checking out FedEx Ground. Items I've shipped recently weighing about 15 pounds, they were by far the cheapest. Usual delivery time is about 5 days, depending on distance.
