I have an interesting jacket I ran across in a thrift store the other day that I am going to list sometme in the next couple of weeks. It is made to look like an old army jacket like they wore during the korean or world war 2. There is no doubt in my mind this was deliberate as the tag sewn inside by the manufacturer states that it is manufactured to the specifications for air crews and patches on the front very closely resemble real air borne patches. I am planning on describing it as a childs military replica jacket. My problem is I can't decide where to list it for the best results. childrens clothing jackets, air craft>general or somewhere under militaria:suprplus. I have been debating about this with myself for quite awhile and am driving myself nuts. Part of me says that it doesnt' matter because military collectors do searches of all of ebay just because the many different catagories there are avialable to them. Thanks in advance for your opinions.
If it is a child's jacket I would list it in children's clothing-jackets if there is such a category.
Military jacket collectors want the real thing and likely wouldn't be interested, but that's just my opinion. You could possibly put in the title "Replica Air Force Jacket, Child's Size" or something like that and might get some crossover lookers. Maybe a military jacket collector will want it for his son or something. I think I have seen jackets like you're describing and they are cute.
