A Mircle

Yes they extend auctions, but the site has to be down for a period of time. I can't remember how long. 2 Hours? 4 Hours? It doesn't matter because Ebay seems to always get the sight working just under the stated deadline.

I have only had my auctions extended 1 or 2 times in the last 1 1/2 years, yet the site has been down pleanty of times when my auctions close.

ebaY extends auctions only if ebaY acknowledges the site is down for TWO hours. ebaY regularly, ummm prevaricates about the site being down. For example they were down for 2.5 hours on 10 Oct but they only admitted to being down a little over 1 hour. I post the actual outage times on my web site and also publish the times in TAGnotes. - Rosalinda

And to add insult to injury - the post that the site would be taken down was not posted until AFTER the site went down, not 10 minutes before the site went down as it appears. Lies lies lies - Rosalinda

Daylight savings time is ending soon, perhaps you'll get an extra hour out of eBay then.

Ebay makes as much sense as the government!!!

Where do they get the idea that they will refund only if they have been down two hours or more??? If I have auctions closing and they are down my last minute I am losing money. I don't care if they are down 3 or 4 or 5 hours or 3 or 4 or 5 minutes. If its when someones auction is ending, the autions should be extended an automatic 24 or 48 hours or some reasonable amount of time. I am tired of stupid rules that make no sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
