I wrote about a high bidder that wasn't happy with his purchase and wanted a refund last week. The bidder was certain the piece had been repainted. I asked if a partial refund would work and the bidder wanted $6 more back to keep the lot and a certain amount for a full refund. This high bidder won't return the lot until he is refunded and we won't refund the money until the lot is returned unless he wanted a partial refund. Which as of this very moment isn't going to do.

I was told this just a little bit ago...

You work for a lousy and unreliable company!
I donīt trust you at all because you have abused my confidence in you.
Only a blind person canīt see that the piece is repainted.
Perhaps even a blind person can feel it.
You will not get away with this swindle.
You want to learn the hard way, you will get it.

If the bidder would have returned the lot in the first place this wouldn't be going on. Right now I am ready for anything.

Personally, if I understand your post right and I am not sure I do. I don't ever offer partial refunds. Personally from past experiences I have found a couple of people use this tactic to get the item for less. This guy should send back your items first before he receives a refund of any kind. I would tell him when items are returned in the exact condition they were sent you will immediately refund or paypal his money to him. No exceptions.

I told the international bidder that I don't know of any store here in the US that will give a refund to a customer without receiving the merchandise first.

If the piece is repainted and I don't remember if it is or not than I and the company I work for will make a total refund but he has to send the lot back first. Obviously he chooses not to do so.
