Why is it everytime I have auctions ending this happens?
I know~~~ no answer for the impossible.

when ebay goes down
tell it to AW and also tell the stock market bulletin boards that ebay is down again
when the stock tumbles more--maybe ebay will get the message of the frustration of ebayers
again go to the stock market bullentin boards
and holler ""EBAY IS DOWN AGAIN""

There is always YAHOO!! I have listed there for almost a year, it's free and not as hectic.

This is the first time eBay went down while I had a bidding war going on for my item. I can only guess what I have lost. And to top that off I didn't list this item on Sunday night because of the down times then. So when should we list our items, 3AM in the morning?
I've tried Yahoo! and Amazon but the bidders are not there for what I list. Maybe if eBay keeps going down they will finally surf to those auction sites.

bastards
Messed up my auctions the last 4 tries.
Cost me bids and money.
All I have to say is this better not be more scheduled preventive maintenance.

Every evening when the West coast people get on line things slow down or stop.
I predict it will only get worse each evening up until about 9:00 PM PST when people start going to bed.
This is going to continue every evening through the Christmas holidays.

Just had another Yahoo auction close...third one today. Don't put all your eggs in eBay's basket folks.

AARRGGHHh!!! I try and list 5 items a day--and keep them scheduled ahead of time. On Sunday only one got listed. Oh well--I figured it would be nice to have a little break the following Sunday when they were scheduled to end. Then Monday--error, error, error, error, error!!!! Well (sigh) a couple of days off next week. So I thought I'd really go big-time and list 10 to start tonight. ERROR! ERROR! ERROR! ERROR! ERROR! This is getting depressing! Pretty soon I'm going to have 20 auctions all starting at the same time--and it's going to be 3 in the morning!

Okay, it's MY FAULT!! I'm one of those West Coast people and I was trying to get on to snipe 4 auctions ending within a couple of minutes of each other. SIGH! Now they'll go for a ridiculously cheap price, and I won't be the high bidder. WAAAHH!

I hear others talking about other auction sites. I would love to move some eggs to another basket. I have tried Gold's, Amazon, Yahoo, and now ePier.com.
I don't get many bids.. Actually I look at the page hit counters like I look at eBay's bids.. I know I don't make any money from a page hit, but I feel lucky to get them on those sites. The only other auction site other than eBay I have actually received a bid was 2 from Yahoo. Neither of them paid even after repeated email requests.
Are others really having any success at these other sites?
