I was poking around ebay and clicked on the FAQ link that appears on the bottom of the search pages "I saw an item a few weeks ago and now I can't find it. Can you help?".
The answer is to search the completed items but it doesn't give any indication of what one is supposed to do once they find such a "lost" item. Are they expecting off-ebay contact?
The answer than goes on to suggest that in the future, if you are interested in an item, you should use the watch feature. Too bad they don't suggest that in the future, one should place a bid.
If this is indeed a frequently asked question, maybe they could take the opportunity to remind buyers that the item they see might not always be available.
I have to go now. I have to send out my EOAs. BOTH of them.
