The answer to 'Why all the Ebay problems in the last few days' seems simple.
Its Disney....aka 'The Mouse'. Each of its listings is not only available during these outages, but each and every listing has a foto next to it on the list of items for sale. Each one is stored@Ebay and eats up all the bandwidth that the rest of the site needs to run.
I could be wrong and would be glad to know that I am. I do not believe that I will be proven wrong. Ebay has whored out its User Base in a truly unconcionable manner. Meg said that they would do somethng like this....i.e., invite Big Sellers over to make their [Ebay's] life easier. I just did not belive that she would offer up the carcasses of all 'the Little People' to make it happen.

I do not know with 100% certainty.
I do know [but am not 100% sure as I am not very computer literate] is that when I did the right click thing and went to properties, I believe that the URL that showed was Ebays....called thumbprint.
Others will be glad to prove me right or wrong and correct any errors.

I think a few other things are taking up to much space like being able to leave feedback for up to 90 days (why?) and showing the complete bid history with all the bids. Waste of space. I wish bids would pick up.

DrTrooth: I said the same thing on Sunday night, when theis set of outages first started. I mentioned that disney was opening in the morning, and that I believed that's why we crashed. This week, they also inserted the free counters into the listing pages.
eBay's doing a lot of executions with the actual website this week.
Have ya looked at them individual disney auctions, one by one???
Talk about BANDWIDTH, lol ... indeed the entire disney site is very very very slow to download.
Mr. Disney Mouse: MOST netizens ain't on broadband or DSL!!!!!!
