You can't sell any firearms on eBay, because you need a Federal License to sell Guns Commercially. That, and there are a few other reasons...
I suggest you take it to an Appraser of Guns, and get thier opinion.
As for selling it online...that's a Gray Area also.

Hi Zeenza.....both auction arms and gunbroker are excellent sites to sell on, I use both for items I cannot sell on ebay. The basic auction listings are free. Auction arms will let you sell up to $200 in a time frame (I think its a month) without paying fees. If you sell more than that in that time frame then you have to pay what they call a large dealers fee. When I am going over $200. I pay the $9.95 fee for a two week unlimited listing of any items or amount. There is no FVF fee at auction arms so the 9.95 is it. Well worth it if you are selling high dollar items. Gunbroker is free the last time I checked. Most of the bidders on both are serious collectors etc and I have had good bidders who have paid quickly. Good luck....Pam

forgot to add......gunbroker is now called "for the hunt" but its using dual names so either will get you there.
and both sites have great info on legal issues, how to ship etc.....guns have to be shipped thru a FFL licensed dealer etc, The sites will give you excellent info on how to's.....if you need any more info, let me know and we can continue this privately.........Regards, Pam

You do not need an FFL to sell firearms (ah..ignorance is bliss). You need an FFL to SHIP firearms. Anyone who legally can own and possess a firearm can sell any weapon they own on any website that will accept it to any other individual who can legally own and possess a firearm. No FFL required. There are some state/fed restrictions as to where you can ship certain guns (i.e. "assault" weapons, machine guns, weapons on states "ban" lists, etc.), but for most of us, we can sell anything to anyone. Go to www.gunbroker.com and list away! P.S. - If your pistol falls under the Feds definition of "antique" (can't think of the correct term right now), you can sell/ship it directly to another individual. If the weapon is black powder, you can sell/ship it directly to another individual. If the weapon does not fall under the two aforementioned categories, you must ship from a licensed FFL holder in your area to a licensed FFL holder in buyer's area. Good luck and God Bless Charlton Heston!
