There have recently been some threads about slow delivery times from the USPS. I have been noticing this myself. Have had checks take up to three weeks to arrive lately, with valid postmarks to prove this!
All the comments here about PayPal have made me nervous about PayPal, also, and I have questioned whether or not to discontinue my PayPal account.
Looking at my recent payments, I have to say at least with PayPal I am getting paid. I have some delinquent bidders, but I hesitate to ask more than once where their payment is, because I have had too many slow payments caused by slow USPS delivery.
I was at the post office the other day, there were four people in line.....we were all shipping Ebay packages! Have we put this much burden on USPS?
Sigh.....I think I'll just go lay down. Thanks for letting me vent.

jimhabor,
Good question. I would also like to know if a buyer can cancel a payment made to a restricted account. If so, then maybe it would be possible to complete the transaction with a money order or a personal check.
I know I'd be ranting and raving to PayPal if it put a freeze on funds I'd sent through their system to pay for a auction simply because PayPal was investigating another matter unrelated to my transaction.
USPS is another matter. I am already ranting and raving about their service. I don't know which is worse, slow delivery, or delivering to the wrong address. My neighbors and I swap mail all of the time!
