Remember he used to keep us all up to speed on what was happening over at Ebay?
We always knew what the problem was and had several updates during the repair process.
I am sure he is a mega millionaire by now.
Funny how money changes relationships ain't it?

His voice was the spirit of eBay's participation in the "community". He spoke thru several individuals but always with the goal of a better place for all and in the interest of the users.
His voice was silenced when the investment/management team took control.
Some recognition of the spirit remained in the form of "Skippy Credits" which were cash awards into users accounts for their having been helpful to others in answering questions on eBay chat boards. The amount was first reduced and now seems all but absent, much like the company spirit it honored.
He attracted, encouraged and fostered the same spirit in others. Fortunately for all of us these people can still be found helping, guiding and encouraging other users here at AW as well as on OTWA and eBay boards.

Sad but true. His disappearance about the time of the "new regime" and the lack of care about ebay sellers was not a coincidence.
