Hi, can someone help me out here? I'm looking at the Home Page Featured option for listing items. eBay advertises that the auction will appear in a rotation on eBay's home page.

I figure that with 1000 Featured auctions now at eBay, and given that eBay only "features" five auctions at a time on the home page, that means each auction gets a total of about 50 minutes on the home page per week.

What happens if your "50 minutes of fame" ends up on a Tuesday at 4:00 a.m.? I imagine eBay mixes up the listings so they don't appear all at once. I don't know. But doesn't it seem a little silly to call it "home page featured" when the item appears on the home page for less than an hour? Or it it my math that is silly?

Has anyone had much success with Home Page Featured?

Read a little further, they do not guarantee that your listing will even appear on the home page!

The last couple of times I ran a featured, I lost money. There are too many listings to even be seen.

Jake, where did you see that disclaimer?
