I normally get a fair amount of hits and don't worry about how things like this will end up. However, if I don't get many more hits over the next couple of days, I cannot even hope that it is on someone's Watch List.

I have only had TWO hits since putting this up for auction. Help please.

Looks ok,good price.I see no problems I just think you are seeing what many sellers are seeing right know. Not much activity.

EbaY's systems problems maybe at fault.

If you have no bids and you are worried it will sell too low.End the auction and wait a week or two and relist.

Could be the subject matter is not that interesting.

I have a group of items that have done great every week for 2 years.I build the rest of my auctions around them and bidding for the last week is the worst I have seen so you are not alone.

You have an excellent rep and have made a lot of sales so it must be lack of interest at this point in the item.

Happens...

I would think the matte and frame are worth more than the starting bid.

Personally, as a buyer, I've hardly looked at eBay lately, but probably will start soon to augment my Christmas shopping...

Could just be the time of year too...

I noticed that the system is still hiccupping this morning...maybe that's affecting your hits.

FIRST of all...Buttmunch;VERY rude. What is not interesting to you.....well you know the rest. Dixiebee: I really don't understand your problem here. You have wonderful feedback, you want to make enough profit to clean your house, you have six days left on this particular auction (as well as the rest of the auctions that you have running right now)....and you are worried about the number of HITS you have??? Sorry.....With all the problems that are going on right now with Ebay, I think you are doing pretty good!!!!!

Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason to why stuff gets hits or not. I listed something, got a whopping 9 hits. Didn't sell (surprise, surprise) Re-listed it, got about 50 hits, and had a bidding war at the end. I didn't change the listing, just waited a couple of weeks to re-list it.

How many other similar/identical items are currently selling (or just sold)?

In terms of price, the minimum one would pay would be $22 ($10 bid plus $12 S&H) - how much is this item typically "worth"?

Certainly the listing itself seems fine, although it took awhile for the picture to load (I have a VERY fast connection), so see if there are any issues with your image hosting and/or size of images.

Hope this helps...

My 2 cents---When my stuff doesn't sell I ALWAYS relist it at a higher price. And--they
usually sell for that higher price.
Figure that out

Thanks to everyone who has responded thus far. Apparently it is not my title, description, terms, etc. -- it is the item and/or eBay's current problems.

I think I will pull it and relist in a few days. Though it pains me to give more to eBay in listing fees, I may go the two category route (listing in Worlds Fair and again in Art) and putting it in the Gallery.

There are no other items listed like this, nor are they available in the sold search. I have no reference for its value, so I thought I would start it out low and all would come out okay in the end. Perhaps I should start it out at a higher price as suggested by lastnot for a perceived value.

As a last resort I could put RARE or L@@K in the title.

WHY? WHY? WHY? would you pull this and relist?? I really don't understand. You have six days left on this auction. This is a little premature. With the feedback you have, did you ALWAYS worry about the number of hits you have on your auctions??

I had to scroll across to see all the ad.

See if you can avoid the word 'must' in your terms

She used the word "MUST" exactly one time (must receive pmt. within two weeks?? Not bad) See nothing wrong with this.

Please don't take offense but maybe, just maybe there is no one looking for your item. I know i wouldn't. The only time I might is if there was a current World's Fair in progresss. That would make me think of others.

Have you considered listing it in one of the regional eBay sites? Seems to me that people in the state or near the city would be more inclined to want such a piece.

Oh, good for you Dixiebee....Glad for you. One thing about "hits"...I have sold items before that have had only 15 to 20 hits and has gone through the roof. I no longer pay a great deal of attention to "hits"..and,btw, anything to do with world's fairs are highly collectible. Janet
