Are there any "oldtimers" with suggestions on when to list a group of New With Tags clothing? Tommy, RL and such.
Timing is everything...but when will the "big Christmas rush" hit eBay? It will, won't it? I cannot decide between mid-November or Thanksgiving weekend.
Thanks for sharing what has worked for you in past years.

Well I guess after 5 years I am an "old timer," actually I don't do a 10th as much posting on eBay as I did in past years, moved most of my auctions to Yahoo, and am MORE than happy with their BUY PRICE Auctions, and the fact Yahoo is always up, running AND FREE, but be that as it may,
1. I keep a close eye on the weather - the worse the weather, the better the sales (at least for us) I don't mean weather in my particular area of the country. I am in the South, so there is never really bad weather in the winter, I watch the weather in the Mid-West, N.E., and N.W., when those folks get snowed in - wow do we sell.
The biggest shopping day of the year is the day after Thanksgiving (that is for retail sales in stores), I personally don't bother posting much till after that, but there again, it depends on the weather.
As someone else mentioned, it would help if eBay were up and running!
I can't speak to clothing as I don't sell such, but if I were undecided on when to start, I'd start early, always better than a late start.
