Had to file one of my rare NPBs & the 10 days are up w/o contact from the bidder. I'm ready to file for my FVF credit but am planning on leaving a neg for this bidder.

Somewhere in my foggy memory is a previous experience that once I file for the FVF credit, the auction becomes null & I couldn't leave a neg. Obviously I should file the neg before I take the last step to make sure this bidder gets the neg but wanted to check & see if after I file for them, can feedback still be left for a bidder?

I've left negs after filing for FVF and never had a problem with it going through. Why would anyone be motivated to pay if they've received a neg already.

The main reason I've had for not being able to leave negs is that by the time I get to them they've been NARU'D.

As long as the buyer is not NARU, you can leave a neg. If you're dead set on it, try to leave it before you file for FVF credit. Your FVF might be the one that gets them NARU'ed, and then you won't be able to leave feedback. Bear in mind that they can still leave feedback for you, too, and some will.

Thanks, nowwhat.

I just couldn't recall if the auction becomes "null" once the FVF credit is given & feedback couldn't be left or if it continued to be a valid auction where feedback can be left up to the 90 day period.
