Just got the word from the Bank of Montreal, as of today, the "green" Domestic USPS MO's will no longer be accepted.
I was told that ALL Canadian financial institutions will not honor them as of next month, or sooner.
FYI - My bank has been accepting them since the the USPS created them.

I've been depositing them for almost 4 years at the TD, got a call a couple of weeks ago, no more greenies, oh well, c'est la vie.

I really can't picture someone standing and buying one $700.00 Money Order after another up to the $10,000 limit.

Oh well, I feel sorry for those of you who can no longer accept them.
I just save them up & cash them at the post office south of the border each time I go down, works out well as I have spending cash while in the States without an exchange rate.
I know not everyone can do this, but it is nice if you can.
Perhaps another good reason for Billpoint electronic checks or some other form of payment acceptance?

Upriver ...... I already accept CC payments via Billpoint & BidPay. I also accept personal checks on 98% of my auctions, as well as bank checks/MO's, or cash.
I still get people who send USPS MO's.
Go figure?
I hope my high bidders can understand my newly revised EOA emails.
