Hi everyone!
This is only my second post ever here.....I have been an Ebay seller for about a year now and was doing o.k. built up a 273 with no negs and was making a little money.
Then Bam! ebay cancelled all my auctions last night! They also sent an e-mail to all my biddersthat pretty much me sound like a criminal!I know what you guys are thinking...what kind of filthy disgusting items was I selling.....o.k. don't look if you are "faint of heart" Coupons!
anyway I still can't find anything in the listing guidelines prohibiting selling coupons. It seems someone objected to thier legal department so they just started cancelling auctions right and left.In case you guys never heard of coupon selling it is perfectly legal and there are several large compinies that do it.the manufacturers don't like it and sometimes put in the "small print" of thier coupons that it can't be sold,traded,tranferred,etc.... but It is pretty clear that once you buy the newspaper the coupon is in the coupon is your property and I can do what I &%$!! please with them.
Oh well,.....looks like Yahoo just gained a whole new group of sellers
lmk know what you guys think of this.

I did a search on coupons a few minutes ago. All grocery cents off coupons seem to have been closed. Cigarette coupons and airline coupons seem to be still there though. A little bit of discrimination here? Hmmmm.

Come to think of it, I saw a huge amount of gift certificate auctions showing "invalid item". In most of these cases it looked like it was a few sellers who listed lots of them (the only way I could tell was that the item names looked very similar and in a time sort they were lumped). I find that odd.
