I was just curious, but is it just me or do a lot of buyers not post feedback on eBay. I have done so many transactions that went perfectly but no feedback. Why?
What is the percentage of successful auctions that you get positive feedback for?

Wow, that's even worse than mine. I think in all this year I've done over 500 auctions and my feedback is 250, so around half.

I've left over 1700+ feedbacks that were never returned.
I personally feel that feedback is optional and shouldn't be made the most important part of a transaction. I've left 4734 feedbacks and have only received 2976 in return. I used to leave feedback as soon as I received payments, but now I only leave feedback after it's been left for me. As a buyer though, I leave feedback as soon as I receive the item.

Hey snbbal:
We have successfully concluded over 3000 auctions and our feed-back file has 1695 entries.(1394 from "unique users".)We have posted 2680 FB's ( we don't always post every auction for multiple buyers)
I think that's a pretty good example, but I don't know...
WHAT DO SOME OTHER SELLERS DO??
BTW: Using the #9 box on AW's auction management should increase your % a lot -
because it not only reminds the "lazy" customer, but also gives'em an "URL" to
go to. Can't make it any easier'n that!

Yeah, the only problem with the #9 AW box is that AOL users (which is a lot of users) can't ever use URL's in emails. The always complain about it when you send them the invoice. What a pain.

I find that well over half of my auctions result in feedback: I operate as close to real time in my responsiveness and service and this usually impresses people.
Now you have so many new people, they don't know how to leave feedback so if you make an email explaining to them how to leave feedback, and see what happens. I keep emailing until they leave feedback, and usually works, I get about 90% feedback, out of 175 auctions I may be sitting on 15 non feedback.
