I sold an item to a college student who withdrew their bid because they didn't notice that I have PayPal and they don't want to walk 4 miles to get a MO. Don't Student Unions or college bookstores have MO's?

Trouble is, I do have PayPal and it is clear from the logo in my auctions and made apparent again in my Winning Bidder Notice. They asked for my account # and I gave them my email address. Guess they didn't see it in the header. Buyer also doesn't have a checking account or a credit card. How do they have a PayPal account?

Didn't want to leave a NPB notice for a new buyer so I gave them another chance to pay via PayPal I sent them an additional email with detailed instructions. Was this a mistake? Is there an eBay penalty if a bidder withdraws and then I still sell them the item?

I think I've been had, but who knows? No matter how cynical I get I just can't seem to keep up.
